Human remains of an adult woman were found in Skull Valley, 12 miles west of Prescott, on March 9, 2009. Authorities say the remains were found in a wash near Copper Basin Road and Iron Springs Road.

As part of an effort to solve the cold case, the sheriff's office has shared a forensic facial reconstruction created by the Yavapai County Medical Examiner's office.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call cold case detective John Shannon at 928-777-7293. Tips can also be left anonymously through Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
