For the first time since the devastating Yarnell Hill Fire, ABC15 crews got a tour Wednesday of the station where the Granite Mountain Hotshots worked.

Nineteen members of the hotshot crew were killed Sunday, June 30 when a windblown wildfire overcame them near the small town of Yarnell.

Fire Station 7 was their home away from home.

Some of hotshots' belongings were still on their desk. Walking around the station, you got a sense of the crews' sense of humor and where they worked.

Building a new team has already started. The fire chief hopes the city will approve a plan so he can start hiring and training next month.
