Police looking for owner of dog that bit clerk

Police are on the hunt for a man whose dog bit a clerk inside a Walgreens store in Prescott. 

According to the Prescott Police Department, on March 30 around 5:30 p.m., a man walked into the store near Sheldon and Montezuma streets. The man had a dog with him. 

Police say while the man was inside the store, a clerk tried to pet the animal and the dog then bit the clerk in the face. Police say the clerk had lacerations and multiple puncture wounds to her face. 

The man left the store with his dog and has not been located yet. Police are hoping to locate the man so the woman can receive medical treatment. 

Police describe the man as a being 5 feet 8 inches tall, was wearing a tan colored jacket and carrying a backpack. The dog is described as a dark brown or gray pit bull.
