Authorities in northwestern Arizona say a Kingman man has lost two of his fingers in a shooting range accident.

Mohave County Sheriff's officials say 31-year-old Joshua Clark accidentally loaded his black powder rifle with a double charge Tuesday at a range in Golden Valley.

They say the gun exploded when fired and Clark lost two fingers in the accidental shooting.

He was taken to a Kingman hospital for treatment.
