A former Flagstaff police officer allegedly caught on cell phone video punching a woman in the face has been indicted on aggravated assault charges.
A release from Flagstaff police says Jeff Bonar was immediately investigated after the video surfaced in November, 2016 and was found to have committed several policy violations.
The Mohave County Attorney’s Office also investigated, and an indictment against Bonar was issued for two counts of aggravated assault.
Bonar resigned from the department after the video surfaced.
