After eating turkey, stuffing and pie (and adult beverages), don't get behind the wheel and drive while intoxicated.
That's what local police agencies want to remind drivers of this Thanksgiving weekend.
Many are out in full force, patrolling the streets keeping the community safe.
ABC15 tagged along with the Scottsdale Police Department as they started their evening shifts on a busy holiday weekend.
The Chandler Police Department also warned drivers to be safe and celebrate responsibly since "your family is waiting."
