Seen him? Scottsdale police looking for armed bank robber

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Police are asking for the public's help identifying an armed man that robbed a bank in Scottsdale Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say around 3 p.m., the suspect went into the Comerica Bank near Scottsdale and McDowell roads, approached the counter and handed the teller a note.

The suspect stated he was armed and demanded money. After being handed the cash, police say the suspect took off westbound on McDowell in an older model faded light blue Nissan Sentra four-door sedan.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid to late 30s, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, petite build, long brown hair, with dark-rimmed prescription type glasses.

He was last seen wearing a white/grey hooded sweatshirt w/ a "Vans" logo on the back, jean pants, black Van's type shoes w/ white stripe and soles.
