Scottsdale police say they've arrested 57-year-old Maria Soria for allegedly shooting her husband in the neck Thursday.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is in extremely critical condition as of Friday morning.
Kevin Watts, spokesperson for Scottsdale police, said police were initially called to an apartment complex near McDowell and Scottsdale roads for a medical call. As more information came in, the call was upgraded to a shooting call.
Police say a third person was in the home at the time and cooperated with police.
Circumstances of what led to the shooting are still under investigation.
Police are not looking for any other suspects.
