Scottsdale police have arrested a 28-year-old man after they believe he took an unconscious woman home and sexually assaulted her multiple times.

Police said on Saturday, a woman called police to say she was sexually assaulted after a night of drinking with a friend while out in Scottsdale after she woke up in an unknown location.

Police began their investigation and learned the woman's friend had left the woman, who was unconscious and unable to walk at the time, while she went to retrieve her vehicle.

Surveillance video then showed a man, later identified as former MMA fighter Rodolfo Ramirez, in the area pick up the passed out woman and carry her away.

Police believe Ramirez sexually assaulted the woman in a parking garage. He then took the woman to his home and sexually assaulted her two more times.

Ramirez then drove the woman to Tempe and dropped her off at an intersection.

He was arrested on Wednesday and faces kidnapping, sexual assault and sexual abuse charges.

Scottsdale police are encouraging anyone that may have been a victim of Ramirez, or knows further information, should contact them.
