SCOTTSDALE, AZ — One person is dead and another has serious injuries after a motorcycle collided with a car in Scottsdale Monday evening.
The incident happened around 2:50 p.m. near Dynamite Road and 101st Way.
Police say the victim, 36-year-old Kathryn Hanson, was transported to the hospital where she later died of her injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The motorcycle operator has not been identified, but Scottsdale police say the 47-year-old man remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
