Police: Car taken at gunpoint at Scottsdale Starbucks store

Scottsdale police are investigating an armed carjacking that happened at a Starbucks store early Friday morning. 

Police say the victim's vehicle was taken at gunpoint near 92nd Street and Shea Boulevard. The call came out after 5:30 a.m. 

According to police, the victim was parking his car when another vehicle pulled up behind him. A passenger got out of the car with a mask over his face and pointed a gun at the victim. 

The suspect ordered the victim to get out of the car. The suspect drove the victim's vehicle out of the parking lot, police said.

The victim's vehicle is a 2014 silver two-door BMW convertible with a Arizona veteran plate: JJ37.
