SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A 14-year-old boy has been detained following a shooting in Scottsdale Monday evening.
Scottsdale police say at around 6:35 p.m. they responded to a shooting call near Indian School and Hayden roads. When they arrived on scene they found two adults uninjured and four juvenile male suspects who were hiding in the area.
The juveniles were then detained after investigators discovered that the victims and the suspects were arguing across the street from each other.
One of the suspects was a 14-year-old male who threatened the victims and shot two rounds of a handgun, one bullet piercing a parked car.

The officers were able to find the handgun and suspects after fleeing the scene on foot.
Scottsdale police say the investigation is still on-going.
