Officers say around 8:40 a.m. they responded to the crash near 98th Street and Legacy Boulevard.
The investigation revealed a 21-year-old driver was heading eastbound on Legacy Blvd. when she failed to stay in her lane, colliding with a man and woman in their 70s cycling in the bike lane.
The driver who struck the bicyclists reportedly stayed at the scene.
They were both transported to a nearby hospital where the man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was pronounced dead. She has been identified as 75-year-old Ann M. Theil.
