A fire ignited in an air conditioner on top of a restaurant Tuesday.
Rural/Metro fire responded to the Silver Spur near Cave Creek and School House roads around 5 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find an air conditioning unit caught fire, and flames had spread to the roof and attic.

The eastbound lanes of Cave Creek Road were blocked while first responders were on the scene.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames to the attic.
There was no immediate word on any injuries.
