Interstate 17 has reopened near New River after it was partially closed for a reported brush fire.
The northbound lanes were closed for a short time Friday afternoon at New River Road because of a brush fire, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.. Click here to view current traffic conditions.

ADOT said the northbound lanes reopened around 3:15 p.m. The southbound lanes were not affected.
