Three people are in the hospital, including the driver a pickup truck who was going the wrong way on Interstate 17.

The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. Monday near Anthem.

According to DPS troopers on the scene, Fermin M. Cervantes, the pickup truck driver, was southbound in the northbound lanes of I-17 when he slammed head-on into an older couple.
