The Yuma Police Department responded to a robbery early Monday morning and are currently seeking the suspect.
Around 2:15 a.m. an unknown male entered the Circle K at 8th Avenue and 24th Street, and allegedly pointed a handgun at the clerk, Yuma police said.
Police reported that the Hispanic male left with an undisclosed amount of money. He is believed to be about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds.
He has been described as having a stalky build with brown eyes, and was wearing a white t-shirt with a dark-sleeved shirt underneath, plaid shorts, a black hat, white tennis shoes and a black and white bandana over his face, police said.
