Police in Tucson have identified a body found in Vail as a teenage girl who went missing from her home on Wednesday night.

Tucson police say the body of 13-year-old Jayden Glomb was found Thursday afternoon between Cienega High School and Empire High School in Vail.

They say the girl was identified Friday and the case is being investigating as a suspicious death.

Glomb reportedly went missing from her Vail home around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say a worker at the housing development was driving out of the area Thursday when he saw what he believed to be a body in the desert area and called 911.
