It looks like it is happening again- the Islamic Center of Tucson is being pelted by trash from above.
According to a Facebook post on the Islamic Center's page, last week the parking lot was showered by alcohol bottles. The parking lot is right below the high rise apartment buildings for University of Arizona students.
It happened last year, as seen in surveillance video. Trash could be seen thrown from the windows 14 stories above the apartments. Four students were evicted from the complex when this happened.
Several measures were put in place to stop students from throwing things off the balconies, including installing security cameras and blocking off some balconies.
Last time the ICT had issues like this, city leaders got involved and there were community meetings to talk about student behavior everywhere on campus.
