A 1-year-old child was severely injured after what appears to be an accidental shooting on Tucson's east side Tuesday afternoon, according to the Tucson Police Department.
Police say it happened at 2 p.m. on the 4700 block of East Linden Street, near the intersection of Pima Street and Swan Road.
First responders rushed the child to a hospital as police continue investigating the scene.
