Authorities in Tucson are looking to find a man caught on surveillance video taking a dog from the Humane Society earlier this month.

Police do not know how the man got into the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, but surveillance video shows him carrying a one-year-old male Basenji mix dog.

Police said the man damaged a security camera and force his way into the dog's kennel around 11:45 p.m. on March 5.

The dog is about 30-40 pounds, brown in color with dark fur around his ears and mouth. He has a white spot on his chest.

The suspect was last seen wearing a baseball cap, camouflage pants, white shows, white t-shirt and glasses.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to call 911 or the Pima County Sheriff's Office.

The Human Society is located at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd. in Tucson.
