The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is offering public tours of its latest temple in Tucson starting Saturday.

Only members of the church in good standing are allowed in temples and the public usually only gets a glimpse of their indoors during special tours before a new one is set to open.

The tours will run through June 24 except on Sundays.

The temple was announced in 2012 and will serve 30,000 Mormons and nine stakes in Tucson and nearby communities. The temple is over 38,000 square-feet big and is located in the city's far north side.

The church says the temple has already received over 85,000 reservations for its open house. Members of the public who are interested in going have to make online reservations first.
