U.S. Rep. Martha McSally is capping off a full week of district activities in Southern Arizona by speaking at two graduation ceremonies in Tucson.

On Friday afternoon, McSally will sing the National Anthem and deliver a keynote speech at the Fred G. Acosta JobCorps graduation ceremony.

Later in the evening, the first-term Republican congresswoman will be the keynote speaker at Pima Community College's Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute graduation ceremony.

McSally won the U.S. House 2nd District seat by just 167 votes in 2014.

She is unopposed in next Tuesday's primary, but the Nov. 8 general election is expected to be competitive and one of the most closely watched in the nation.

Two former state lawmakers -- Matt Heinz and Victoria Steele -- are running in the Democratic primary.
