Pima County health officials are looking for anyone who may have had contact with two wild animals that had rabies.

The Pima County Health Department said Saturday that a fox and a bat recently tested positive for rabies.

The fox was located Wednesday in the Loma Verde South Wash in Saguaro National Park. Park officials say the animal had behaved aggressively toward park guests.

The bat was found outside an Office Max store on Oct. 13.

Health officials say anyone who was in either area but had not physical contact is not at risk.

Rabies is transferred to humans through bites, scratches or saliva of infected animals.

Anyone who may have had contact should contact the county's health department immediately.
