Goodyear Fire officials say one person was aboard a small plane that experienced a hard landing south of the Valley on Friday morning.
Emergency crews were called out around 10 a.m. for an aircraft down in a remote area 10 miles south of Goodyear.
On scene, crews located a small plane in-tact in a desert area.
According to an FAA spokesperson, the Diamond DA-40 aircraft had engine trouble and the pilot was able to safely land the plane.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
