An Arizona man was found this week with $416,000 worth of drugs at the near the Arizona-Mexico border, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

In a news release, CBP said the unidentified man's vehicle was given a secondary search at the Port of Nogales and a narcotics canine alerted to a scent in the roof.

"Several packages" totaling 91 pounds of methamphetamine valued at almost $272,000, and nearly five pounds of heroin valued at $144,000 were found in the vehicle's roof, the release said.

The 50-year-old man was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
