Police say a 2-year-old boy was fatally hit by a car in the parking lot of a Nogales drug store.
Authorities say the incident happened outside a Walgreen's around 3:40 p.m. Saturday.
The boy was walking through the parking lot when he was struck by a pickup truck.
Police say the child was immediately transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The 41-year-old woman driving the truck is being investigated for impaired driving.
Authorities did not release the boy's identity.
