Rain, winds, lightning and thunder did not dampen spirits at the Country Thunder music festival in Florence.

Organizers said one performer, Courtney Cole, had to cancel her show because of heavy rains, other than that a five minute delay was the only impact weather had on the Sunday concert.

Jerry Krochak, a spokesman for the four-day music festival said country music fans were diehards.

"They're having a great time. You can't dampen the spirits of Country Thunder nation."

Out in the campgrounds, those living in tents and RV's were dealing with a mud pit. Campers said it was hard not to walk on the mud without slipping. One camper said the rains impacted their sleeping quarters.

"The water got in our campsite, in our tent and all of our clothes are wet, our sleeping bags are wet," said camper Ashley Coakley.

About 25,000 people showed up for the four day music festival. The festival attracts some of the top names along with new up and comers in the country music world.
