A man with a gun was arrested on Interstate 10 near Casa Grande Friday night.
Subject with a gun is at MP 200 on I-10 in Casa Grande/Eloy.

Department of Public Safety officials say around 7:30 p.m., the suspect tried to carjack a driver near the Love's Truck Stop at Milepost 200 on I-10.
Police located the suspect on the overpass and after a brief confrontation, were able to take him into custody.

Interstate 10 near Casa Grande was briefly shut down while crews worked to clear the scene.
Police activity has closed I-10 EB at mp 194 and WB at mp 200, near Casa Grande. No estimate to reopen. Alt routes: SR 87 and SR 287.
