Authorities have released the names of the four people killed when a car went over the Coronado Bridge and crashed into a rally being held at Chicano Park below.

Two of the four, Cruz and Annamarie Contreras, are from Chandler, according to information from the medical examiner.

Jacob Contreras said his aunt and uncle were loved and cherished in the community and tried to help the less fortunate whenever they could.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses and support programs for foster children in which the couple participated. Those wishing to donate can do so by clicking here.

The two others killed in the crash are Andre Banks and Francine Jimenez, of Hacienda Heights, CA. All four were attending the rally when the truck fell on top of them. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol said the driver is suspected of being under the influence at the time of the crash and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Eight others attending the La Raza motorcycle rally were also hurt.

CHP says the truck was driving north on I-5 and transitioning to westbound on the bridge when the driver lost control and fell about 60 feet to the park below.
