A music organizer says Kanye West had to abruptly cut short his appearance at a music festival in New York City shortly after Kim Kardashian West was held at gunpoint.
It happened while the hip hop artist was performing at The Meadows Music and Arts Festival at Citi Field in Queens Sunday night.
A spokesperson for Kardashian West says she was held at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.
The representative said the reality TV star is "badly shaken but physically unharmed."
She offered no other details.
Witnesses tell the Daily News that West told the crowd he was "sorry" there was a "family emergency" and had to "stop the show."
The Meadows Music and Arts Festival sent out a tweet saying "Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early."
The two-day festival which ended Sunday included performances from J. Cole, Empire of the Sun, Pretty Lights and others.
Kardashian West has been in Paris for fashion week. She attended the Givenchy show Sunday evening.
She was also ambushed last week by a serial celebrity accoster who attempted to assault her as she was entering a restaurant.
