TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A man has died while trying to teach his daughter how to park a pickup truck in Pinellas County, Florida, Tuesday night.
According to the Tarpon Springs Police Department, the 46-year-old dad was trying to teach his 15-year-old daughter how to park a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The dad got out of the pickup truck as the daughter tried to pull into the parking space. As the dad stood in front of the vehicle, the daughter accidentally stepped on the accelerator, hitting him and a nearby tree.
The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
