A young boy abducted from his Massachusetts home in 2016 has been found safe in Florida, according to Thursday reports.

The Orlando Sentinal reported that Matthew Hale's father had full custody of the boy when his biological mother abducted him from Webster in September 2016. He was 3 years old at the time.

According to the Sentinal, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recently received an anonymous tip that Christina Hale was living in Orange County, Florida with Matthew.

Agencies from Massachusetts and Florida began working together to investigate the tip, including surveilling a residence where the pair was believed to be staying.

The Sentinal reported that Matthew was found at the home on Tuesday in good health. Christina Hale was taken into custody.
