Emergency crews in Wisconsin were pulling vehicles out out the water Saturday after several cars fell through the ice at Lake Geneva's Winterfest.

Around two dozen vehicles parked on the ice became partially submerged in the water during the judging of the the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition.

As of 6 p.m., the Lake Geneva Fire Department was working to remove seven vehicles from the water using a tow truck. No one was in the vehicles when the ice broke.

"I see a whole row down in front of the water, and I see my car way out there, and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I gotta get to my car,' so I ran to my car and by that time there was at least two rows of cars down in the water," said Julie Rowe of Woodstock, IL.

Parking is scarce in the area, so officials allowed people to park on the ice.
