Clearly this couple ain’t afraid of no ghosts.

When it came time announce their pregnancy, Matt and Alyssa MacMillan, of Delran, New Jersey, decided to spice things up a bit with a spooky trailer-like video.

“We wanted to announce it in a fun and different way and I like to make videos as a hobby so it seemed like the perfect way to announce it,” Matt wrote to ABC News.

“Alyssa and I are super excited to announce that we will be involved with this awesome adventure coming out this summer. Check out the preview,” Matt wrote on his Facebook page.

In the video, ominously titled “Baby,” the couple begins to become unsettled when “something doesn’t feel right.” They hire a paranormal activity detective to investigate further and they ultimately discover it’s not spooky spirits haunting their house, it’s a sweet baby growing in Alyssa’s belly.

The production took about two weeks to complete and the video has amassed more than 6,000 views on Facebook.

“Our families knew that we were making a video to announce [the pregnancy] but didn't know the details,” said Matt. “It was a surprise for all of our friends and extended family. Everyone seemed to love it.”

The MacMillans are not die-hard lovers of scary movies “but with all the ‘Paranormal Activity’ type movies that have come out recently, I think the horror genre is definitely one of the easier ones to spoof,” he explained. “But unlike our video roles, we're super excited for the baby (this is our first).”

And if you recognize Matt’s face, it’s because he and his brothers also went viral exactly a year ago for recreating their childhood photos as a gift to their mom.
