The University of Arizona Global Chinese New Year Festival show has been canceled due to recent travel concerns from the 2019 Novel Coronavirus outbreak.
The show was scheduled for Feb. 1 for 2 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
Related festival activities will be pushed back until further notice, according to University of Arizona Global.
In part, Provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at the University of Arizona Liesl Folks said "We regret that we have to take this action, but it's best to be careful at this stage."
Those who have already purchased show tickets, and want to return them, call the University of Arizona Confucius Institute at 520-626-5124.
