They've helped Valley consumers solve hundreds of problems and save tens of thousands of dollars, and now you too can be part of the team.
Many of the Let Joe Know email and phone calls, go right to the Assistance League of Phoenix volunteers. Sometimes the team contacts both sides and tries to work out a solution. Other times, they help advise consumers about their rights or how to avoid a scam.
The volunteer team meets every weekday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at a location near Northern Avenue and 5th Street in Phoenix. Some volunteers are there one day a week and some are there more often.
If you want a rewarding way to spend three hours a week, where you'll also learn about the latest scams and protections, I invite you to be part of the problem-solving team.
