How to keep your information out of some people searches

People search websites are popular.

They use information that's publicly available.

But it's information you may not want them to have. It includes names of children and previous addresses. And it could include much more if you pay for the service.

Ken Colburn with Data Doctors says there is a way to keep sites from having those details. Many of these sites allow you to opt out of being included in live people searches. It's usually language buried in privacy policies. The information would still remain public. But the site would no longer use it.
