A Mesa man allegedly confessed to police that he has been involved in child molestations that are "too many to remember."

Mesa Police report that yesterday they arrested 20-year-old Misael Fernando Valdez on multiple counts of child abuse and child molestation.

Valdez reportedly admitted his actions to police after a female child accused him of having her sexually touch him.

Valdez reportedly told police that he believed the young girl "was flirting with him during the incidents," according to court paperwork.

The victim’s siblings also came forward saying Valdez taught them how to smoke marijuana, court paperwork stated.

Valdez came to the Mesa Police station saying he wished to confess to what the victim reported and many more incidents over the past year.

Valdez is being held on a $150,000 cash bond.
