Police in Scottsdale caught a robber after he was found nearby wearing the stolen merchandise.
Court records show that on May 5, a Scottsdale wig shop was robbed and the suspect, 23-year-old Malachi Jordan Cue, was found in the area wearing one wig with others stuffed in his pants.
Scottsdale police say Cue was "extremely intoxicated" when he burglarized the Arizona Wig Boutique near Scottsdale and Indian School roads. He was located just a few blocks away from the shop. He had five wigs in his pants when police found him.
The boutique reported that the value of the stolen wigs was $3,500.
Cue has been charged with burglary and criminal damage.
