Scottsdale police arrested Arizona Wildcats offensive lineman Keenan Walker for assault around 1 a.m. on July 10 in Old Town Scottsdale.

Police report Keenan Randall Walker, 20, of Paradise Valley and a friend attempted to enter the Dakota Bar near Scottsdale and Camelback roads. Both men are under 21 years of age.

When they were refused entry by the security staff, the two reportedly assaulted the workers and created a disturbance at the club entrance.

Scottsdale Police say both men were booked and released with a citation for charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

Walker attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale. ESPN rated him as a national top 100 recruit and the second best recruit in Arizona in the Class of 2015.

In addition to UA, Walker had scholarship offers from ASU, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska and USC. He sat out his freshman season of 2015 due to an ACL injury.
