SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A man allegedly took a pair of scissors to his ex-wife's wardrobe in Scottsdale, as a way of payback for "stabbing him in the back."

According to court documents, Mark Montes, age 24, was charged this month with criminal damage.

Montes is accused of entering his ex-wife's home near Scottsdale and Thomas roads, taking a shower and then taking a pair of scissors to her wardrobe.

Montes reportedly destroyed all her clothes valued at over $2,200. He allegedly left the scissors in the victim's bedroom.

According to the victim, Montes later texted her admitting his actions. He allegedly wrote, "You stabbed me in the back. I stabbed your clothing in the back."

A warrant has been issued for Montes' arrest. He has yet to be located by police.

Anyone with any information about Montes' location is urged to call the Scottsdale police.
