A man who followed two children around the East Valley to molest them has been arrested in Germany where he is a soldier in the U.S. Army, officials say.

Court records show that 31-year-old Jason Scott Rogers reportedly befriended the two children in 2003 and had multiple sexual encounters with the boys, even as teenagers, when he returned to Arizona while on leave from the army.

Police report that in 2003, Jason Scott Rogers, now age 31, befriended two children ages 5 and 9, while he was working at a Costco store in Gilbert.

He allegedly built a relationship with the boys and lured them to his apartment near Costco where he molested them.

Rogers reportedly convinced the kids to keep "their secret" as he molested them for years, following them to multiple addresses in Gilbert, Tempe, Scottsdale, and San Tan Valley.

At age 15, the 5-year-old victim cut off his contact with Rogers, but the 9-year-old, now age 17, kept in contact with Rogers reportedly seeing him this year while Rogers was on leave from the military.

Rogers has been in the Army for the past three years and was arrested in Kaiserslautern, Germany on August 23. Rogers allegedly admitted to authorities that he "seeks the relationship of little boys under the age of 16."

Rogers has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation, sexual abuse and sexual conduct with a minor.
