GLENDALE, AZ — A man on meth entered several occupied Glendale homes in the early morning last week.
Glendale police report that on June 18 about 1:45 a.m. officers responded to homes in a neighborhood near 51st and Olive avenues. They received reports of a man, later identified as 31-year-old Ivan Morales, entering a woman's home before leaving. He then entered another woman's house in the same neighborhood.
Morales refused the second woman's request to leave her house, saying he was being followed, police say.
He did eventually leave the home as police arrived and officers detained him outside the front door.
Police say Morales admitted to using meth earlier that morning.
Court records show that Morales is currently on parole from the California Department of Corrections after being convicted for assault with a deadly weapon.
He has been charged with criminal trespassing.
