PHOENIX — An apartment manager was assaulted after confronting a woman who exposed herself to young children.
Phoenix police report that on June 9 they responded to an apartment complex near 7th Avenue and Bell Road on a report of indecent exposure.
Police say, Mary Cecilia Knaggs, 51, exposed herself to a mother and her two children ages, 4 and 6, at the apartment complex pool.
When the apartment manager confronted Knaggs, "she became enraged and punched the manager in the jaw," according to court documents.
Police say Knaggs was "extremely intoxicated" and kept punching the protective shield in the police car after being arrested.
She has been charged with assault and indecent exposure.
