An armed pizza delivery driver reportedly fired shots at armed robbery suspects after being confronted with a shotgun.

Phoenix police report that on April 25 around 10:30 p.m., a pizza delivery person went to make a delivery to a home near 35th Avenue and Dobbins Road. When he arrived, he was met at the door by two men, one of which pointed a shotgun at him and demanded his money.

Police say the delivery man, in fear for his life, used his handgun to defend himself by firing several shots, hitting the home.

A few hours later, police located and arrested the two suspects, 19-year-old Brandon Miller and 18-year-old Malik McDaniel. McDaniel was found in the same neighborhood and Miller was located at his home in Tolleson.

Both have been charged with attempted armed robbery.
