PHOENIX — Phoenix police are on the hunt for a suspected cat killer.
A video, released by the Phoenix Police Department, appears to show two people in a car shoot at a cat while it was lying in a yard.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on June 28 in a neighborhood near 20th Street and Indian School Road.
Police say the suspects can be seen driving down a street but then stop and reverse.
In the video, the suspects appear to fire a gun, possibly a BB or pellet gun, out the window, striking the animal.
The cat was later found dead.
Police are looking for a Hyundai Accent with a missing rear passenger tire hubcap.
