A Phoenix man working to become a teacher was found to allegedly be in possession of child pornography, and also possibly having internet video chats with minors, police said.

An investigation into 36-year-old Chad Jeffrey Ducharme was launched after the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force located a web address that was uploading images of child pornography.

The username of the video chat line was found to be associated with a Ducharme's Phoenix home, located near 29th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

Police say they found that Ducharme had downloaded and uploaded multiple videos of child pornography, including one that depicted children under 10 years old having sex with adults.

Police report that they also found evidence of Ducharme having video chat conversations with, "what appeared to be minors."

Ducharme allegedly told police that he "is attempting to be a high school teacher and has been involved in student teaching of high school students." He also reportedly told police that he never touched a child sexually.

Ducharme has been charged with sexual exploitation a minor.
