A woman was arrested after allegedly crossing the center line and hitting a motorcyclist, causing severe injuries.
Tempe Police report that just after midnight on October 5, Saki Aota, 23, was driving near Curry and Miller roads in Tempe when she allegedly crossed the center line and collided with a motorcycle.
Police say the motorcycle rider, a 22-year-old man, was severely injured with a broken pelvis, two broken thigh bones, a fractured wrist and internal injuries.
Aota, police say, took a portable breathalyzer test, which reportedly registered at .12.
She has been charged with aggravated assault.
