A Valley man is accused of throwing large rocks at moving vehicles.
Phoenix Police reported that on April 18 a man, later identified as 28-year-old Ernie Francisco Cienfuegos, was arrested for throwing large rocks at vehicles as they passed 58th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Police say Cienfuegos struck three vehicles with the rocks — including two semi-trucks.
Police reportedly located Cienfuegos, still holding a rock in his hand, before running away. They found him again sitting in a car in a nearby neighborhood.
Cienfuegos, denied any involvement, saying he was asleep at friend's house and just woke up.
He has been charged with multiple counts of criminal damage.
